One World Many Voices

One World Many Voices is a non-profit community organisation established to highlight the positive spirit, diversity and unity of our town, Rochdale. In recent years, Rochdale has often received negative national media attention. Our aim is to provide a more balanced and authentic narrative by showcasing the people, stories, and communities that make Rochdale a vibrant place to live and work.

Rochdale is a proud and diverse town where individuals from many backgrounds live side by side, working together to build stronger communities and a brighter future. Through One World Many Voices, we celebrate this diversity by promoting inclusion, understanding, and collaboration across all communities.

As part of this mission, we digitally record and share interviews with inspiring community leaders and changemakers. By amplifying their voices and experiences, we aim to break down barriers, foster dialogue, and highlight the positive contributions that shape our town every day. We are particularly committed to preserving the memories and experiences of older generations whose stories form an important part of Rochdale’s social and cultural heritage.

To support this community-focused mission, One World Many Voices also provides video and podcast production, live streaming, event filming, photography, sound and PA, website design and management, and digital media services. Through these services, we help community groups, charities and local organisations share their stories, promote their activities and reach wider audiences. As a non-profit community organisation, any income generated from these services is reinvested into our work, helping us continue to promote inclusion, preserve community heritage and make media more accessible to the communities we serve.
